Dave Krishna has been with Enclara since its formation. As the COO, he leads the development of the pharmacy program and oversees the operations of the company. Dave is a nationally prominent pharmacist with over 20 years of leadership experience in a variety of pharmacy settings. His unique experiences of building a mail order pharmacy program and pioneering a hospital unit based clinical pharmacist program, combine to make Dave the ideal leader for Enclara Health. Prior to joining Enclara, Dave served as the Director of Pharmacy Operations at drugstore.com, one of the first internet based pharmacies. As one of the founding pharmacists, Dave led the pharmacy operation from start up in 1999, achieving an array of milestones in growth and efficiency. He has significant regulatory and licensing experience as a pharmacist in charge of a national facility, licensed with all State Boards of Pharmacy. He worked with the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy to receive certification for drugstore.com as one of the first VIPPS certified pharmacies in the country. Dave also has extensive clinical experience from both hospital and retail settings and has worked as a clinical pharmacist also authoring healthcare articles published in consumer media. He pioneered the successful, unit-based clinical pharmacist program at Christiana Care Health Services in Newark, Delaware. This groundbreaking program introduced clinical pharmacists to the unit and made them members of the interdisciplinary team. Dave is a graduate of Rutgers University, Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy.
