POSITION OVERVIEW:
Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, the pharmacy technician prepares, counts, labels, packages and dispenses pharmaceuticals for its hospice customers.
The ideal candidate must:
- have a High School diploma or equivalent;
- possess excellent organizational and communications skills;
- have basic math and analytical skills;
- have at least 2 years of pharmacy experience; certification preferred (compounding experience a plus);
- be able to work well in a team environment;
- be able to communicate with different levels of management;
- have the ability and willingness to work days, nights, weekends, and overtime, as needed; and
- be authorized to work in the United States;
